I have viewed the Performance Trailer Brake Titan disc brake installation video many times as I'm thinking of installing these myself.
At 20:40 of their video they state that to have all the calipers facing either front or rear as long as they are the same.

They only need to be the same direction within the same axle. I chose this because the caliper bolts are more easily accessed this way due the shock mounts. I checked with them.
