I had a pad that looked like that..
I would pull into the CG and hear very minor break squeal, when looking, I had 1 wheel covered in brake dust and it was measuring about 50 degrees hotter while on the road.. ..
I needed a caliper spacer installed to allow the outer pad to release just a hair... problem solved.....
