True!
Surprised any late model trailer doesn't have a shut-off switch between *all* the loads and the battery.
"Bean Counters" may cheap out on some brands/models..:(
If "yours" doesn't - - add one (inexpensive)..;)
BTW - Always disconnect *NEGATIVE* first.
