Distance between wheels very close?? Cedar Creek

We just bought a 2009 Cedar Creek. One thing I noted and was even commented on was the fact that there is only about one inch space between the tires. It is a 34 footer with three slides. The tires are 235/16s so I don't think anyone might have put bigger tires on it.

I like using the locks that go between the tires but those certainly will not work on this trailer.
