The legs have to be "timed" in that they need to be set so their starting points are the same. Both legs need to have their screws so the legs are equal distance. You should be able to see if both legs are the same by gauging how much of the outer leg is sticking out the bottom of the trailer. They should be the same amount.
That's what I thought Howard. But when I sheared the pin I obviously got them out of time and I am not sure how to get them back. I will be replacing my temporary pin with a new shear pin and need to retime the legs. I am not quite sure how to go about it but if I need to will use trial and error. I have been looking for a link for a procedure to follow but have been unsuccessful so far.
