Odd to me, though, when checking my caulk I noticed it to be looking almost sheared open where the end caps attach. Is this from flex? Has anyone else noticed this?
I didn't get the walk on roof. At the time I didn't think it was worth the extra cost. i Think the walk on roof is thicker so adds some weight and comes with a ladder which mine did not. I used an extension ladder to get up on the roof to mount my satellite dish and it did feel a bit flimsy under my weight but as long as I stayed on the trusses it was fine. for washing I'll just use the extension ladder. The only time I can imagine needing the option is if I'm camping and need to get on the roof for a repair.
