Looking at Factory numbers.
11900 GVWR @ a Pin Weight of 20% (2380) = expected maximum axle 9520
9520 / 4 = springs @ 2380 each
Running the numbers at the factory PIN percentage calculated from dry weight:
11900 - 2844 = 9056
9056/4 = 2264 per spring
From a minimum engineering/product cost stand point @ GVWR rating a 2400# spring could be specified pretty easily.
