Im sorry but the trailer is in storage and I do not have any pics of it as yet. I have not added brakes as I am under the toyhaulers rating, no different than putting it inside (stops just the same) but I am at about 62-63ft. short bed truck. LanceTRIPLE8 wrote:
Hi,I was talking about doing this a while ago but didnt know where to start, although I flat tow my samurai behind mine because of the weight, I would like to carry it in the back from time to time. could you pm me and let me know what the cost of adding that 3rd axle. and also are you having it done at lippert in rialto? Thanks, Lance
Once I get it done I will add it all up.
Still got get the fender flares worked out so it will look factory.
I had some other work done also so gotta take that out also.
I had thought about trying to flat tow the samurai behind the toyhauler. I would need to get my commercial CDL and the endorsement for doubles.
Any pics of how you set up the reciever hitch on the toy hauler ?
What brakes system are you running in the samurai when you tow doubles ?
I measured it out to tow doubles with a samurai and it would be right near the max of 65' combined length. Towing doubles would be nice to have as an option.
