I am switching from a Husky manual slider to a Highjacker autoslider 5th wheel hitch. I am using the manual slider more than I thought I would and it just isn't working as easy as I thought it would.
Any reason you chose the Hijacker over the popular Pullrite Superglide?
I think I will like the following things about the Highjacker :
- positive locking slide bar.
- verticle hitch height adjustments
- no capture plate needed
When talking to the sales rep at Tweety's he said the only downside to the Highjacker is that it weighs more than the Superglide but it does have some nice features to it....
I have never taken my manual slider out of my truck yet so the weight wasn't an issue for me. I figure I will give it a try and see how the Highjacker is. I hope it works out as nice as it reads to be.
