Mine is progressive dynamics and it is a 3 stage. We are temporarily living in ours so it is plugged in all the time. I check the battery every once in a while and level is still good on the battery that it came with. Why do you want to change it. I was thinking same thing cause ours has a buzzing noise and LED lights at night get dim some times. What doesnt make sense is if I turn on a light somewhere else they get brighter lol.
