We have PLENTY of room once I make the turn into the driveway and around the shop.
Thanks
I live in a tight Cul de Sac that has a center island. My old trailer WW FS2300 was about 27ft. I went with a 30ft 5th wheel thinking my over all length would be about the same - which it was. The one thing I didnt consider was the 5th wheel cuts a lot sooner in the turns making it so I cant get around the island in front of my house anymore. The tag trailer just followed the truck around the island. I cant make the turn any wider with the 5th. Just something to think about..... - BobWandererExplorer

If you are short on space I would look into the cyclone 2812. Its overall is 29' 11". That is a nice one but a little more expensive.
Thats one of the rigs on our list, the others are Forest River products. We have PLENTY of room once I make the turn into the driveway and around the shop.

Congrats!!! We measured Racorman's FL28AKLG last weekend and it was 32' :)
The web site says 31' 10", but I would like to know the measurement from the bumper of the truck to the back of the T H, if someone could measure that for me. We are looking into this model and have limits fitting the rig into the back yard (Narrow street and then thru a 12' gate about 20' from street). Our present bumper pull is roughly 30' from the truck bumper to the back of the T H. I am assuming a ~30' 5er might actually be shorter since part of it is over the bed of the truck. We have only seen a few 5ers under 30' and that limits our selection, so it would be nice to be able to go with something a little bigger if the combined length stays close.
Thanks

We had wanted the 33' toyhauler but was concerned about the pin weight, so we looked at the FL28AKLG and it should work out good for us so we bought the show model.

We also went to the Pomona RV show. We went on the last day and had planned on just looking. We had wanted the 33' toyhauler but was concerned about the pin weight, so we looked at the FL28AKLG and it should work out good for us so we bought the show model.
I think we got a decent deal on it and it appears to be loaded up with alot of the options. I plan on putting my Suzuki Samurai crawler in the back of it. It will be a tight fit but it should be fine.
We are excited and this will be our first camper/toyhauler.
We have lots to learn but are looking forward to lots of fun too.

Very nice. we almost walked away with that one saturday but salesman was great with convincing me to get the new model with pop out lol. I was a little worried about the rhino (mini crawler) fitting next to the pop out but the floor on the pop out folds up making more clearance even though i figured we didnt need it to do that. Hope to take the toyhauler and rhino to sierra's early next year for some rides on the jeep trails. For now we will just make some local trips to get used to it. - my996duc1ExplorerWe also went to the Pomona RV show. We went on the last day and had planned on just looking. _ - Aquaholic502ExplorerWell we went to the pomona rv show to look at one of these and when talking to the guys from eclipse the said they had a new model coming out just like this but has a pop out. It was supposed to be at the show but they did not finish it in time. The first one off the floor will be done wednesday so we took it. Cant wait to pick it up next weekend.
- fastjmackExplorerFound mine to be nose high even with min bed rail clearance on my stock f-450. Got it dead level now. Just not as much room between rails as I like. Didn't want to flip axles and add to overall height of trailer.
I paid $31K. At Best Rv in turlock. - RacormanExplorerI just installed (2) 135 Watt solar panels and found another way to run the wires to the batteries. Didn't have to use the refrigerator vent. I took the #8 wires down behind the slide out cabinet and then took them toward the battery cabinet along the frame. There are lots of hidden spaces in this toyhauler :C
Also, here is the inverter install..... 2000 Watt Pure Sine Inverter Installation
