I did see a scale there and they said they weigh each trailer after it is finished (dry weight) and record that on the sticker.
I pick up my FL28AKLG on Tuesday !!
where is the sticker located with the weight listed ??
Thanks !
The sticker should be by the door handle.
If they are weighing each of these trailers after being built, then we should all have a different weight listed on the sticker..
what are some stickers saying for weight ??

My sticker says 8500lbs - adams92207Explorer

Congrats!!! We measured Racorman's FL28AKLG last weekend and it was 32' :)
The web site says 31' 10", but I would like to know the measurement from the bumper of the truck to the back of the T H, if someone could measure that for me. We are looking into this model and have limits fitting the rig into the back yard (Narrow street and then thru a 12' gate about 20' from street). Our present bumper pull is roughly 30' from the truck bumper to the back of the T H. I am assuming a ~30' 5er might actually be shorter since part of it is over the bed of the truck. We have only seen a few 5ers under 30' and that limits our selection, so it would be nice to be able to go with something a little bigger if the combined length stays close.
Thanks
Its roughly 26 feet from the rear bumper, 31' 10'' overall length, with a ford f250 short bed crew cab its roughly 46 total feet - my996duc1ExplorerDo we have bearing buddies or an easy way to add grease to the wheel bearings on our 28AKL's ??
If yes, how do you get to the grease zerk ??
I looked at the plastic center cap and not sure if it will pop off or if I would have to remove the wheel.
Thanks !
*** EDIT ***
- called attitude and they said no way to grease the wheel bearings except to pull the wheels and remove the bearings.....
Anyone add bearing buddies yet ???

The nylon retaining strap for my pocket door ripped from screw, which holds it in place. This allowed my pocket door to swing freely in transit and break loose one of the two lower guides for the door. I tried to re-attach the guide to the wall using small expanding plastic screw anchors, but it pulled out again. Any thoughts on how to re-attach the lower guide...it looks like this.
Really depends on where in the door the pullout is located....
If the mount point is solid, not hollow use tooth picks and glue. Fill, then trim flush and pre-drill/install hardware.
Hollow a little more complicated..
Inject epoxy to form a block. Is it near the top or bottom of the door? I have injected "wood restoriation" epoxy in hollow voids before to build a firm base for reattachment. Use something like Git-Rot and plan to spend many short sessions building a block by injecting small amounts of epoxy then waiting for it to harden.
If on end (bottom/top) of door -maybe able to drill/chisel out a section from edge and install a block than fits in the hollow area (glue and clamps), then a little refinishing.
