We run our AC with 2 Honda 2000s and everything works fine.We can not run the AC and microwave at the same time.
Being able to run the AC was the reason I bought the 2nd Honda.
I don't know what the noise level is of the gen. that you have, I do know that the Hondas,and Yamahas run pretty quiet.
