I've been told they build lots of high quality 5th wheels & used a lot of this quality of building in the Pioneer travel trailers & so the Pioneer RL 250 that I'm buying shares the build quality?

Reviews I’ve read are mixed to not good.

Whats important is that you personally don't have any severe problems with it.All travel trailers are thrown together with junk parts.

Landmark, Big Horn and Big Country are their three top line models. These three go down the same production line and share components. We bought a 2017 Big Horn because it was 20-30K less than a Landmark and just a little more than a Big Country that does not have a rear cap. Chris

A few warranty issues that Heartland paid with no problems. Their Customer service Dept. is outstanding. Was able to resolve issues right over the phone. i.e water leak under kitchen sink. I requested just the part that needed replacing, Heartland said they would just send me a whole new kitchen faucet & parts and would pay the RV Technician labor costs. I was not required to just take my RV to only a Heartland Dealer/repair. If I recommended this technician, that was good enough. Would buy another Big Horn in the future:)

They are all pretty much the same in build quality IMO,Just find a good dealer and go for it,it's a **** shoot with quality these days , been full timing for 7 years now and have talked to ALOT of owners of different brands I have heard good and bad stories about Heartland just like my Montana as well

Does HEARTLANDS trailers have a high quality build?

We purchased our 2011 Bighorn new and have not had any issues with it other than a missing screw on a wall sconce and the large rear window Day/Night Shade needing adjusting. This is one we are keeping and as a result have made several mods to it. Well built and well appointed too!

There's a reason Big Country, Landmark and Big Horn are warranted for full time use and the Pioneer isn't.

Pioneer is on the low end of the Heartland brand. Don't expect anything too great. They are built with the same methods and components as any other in their price range. There is only so much they can do differently.

Unless I missed the boat to China, only 2 players in the RV world: Forest River and Thor. Pick your poison. Both companies have low/end end builds and good/better quality. Name me 1 line from either parent company that's problem free.

Incomplete information, only the structure is warrantied for 3 years. I think bumper to bumper is 1 year and the roof is 10 years.

And the 10 year roof warranty like everyone else's...covers only the replacement fabric, no labor, no other materials. If that isn't bad enough it's pro-rated. Not the big deal the salesman wants you to think it is.

We have a Heartland Cyclone 4000, my answer would be NO. Personally I will not buy another Heartland anything.
