I have a Truxedo rollup with a B&W Companion on a 2012 Silverado 2500. My only complaint is that the rails add about an inch of height to the bed sides and thus I lose about an inch of clearance from the bed sides to the fifth wheel.
My Truxedo is a great cover, but I'll second HTSS's complaint about losing the inch of needed clearance. - AllworthExplorer III agree with Russ.
My Pace Edwards clears after I cut down the pull handle on my Reese 16K slider. - rhagfoExplorer IIII think the only issue you might run into is on the Reese, clearing the handle. That can be cut so it doesn't stick up and then cover will cover.
- austinjennaExplorerI have the retrax on a f350 and it covers the trailersave bd3 hitch
- blofgrenExplorerI have the Ram (Curt) 20K hitch and Retrax rolling tonneau cover. I have to bungee down the handle on the hitch so that it will clear the cover but otherwise it works great.
BTW I had a Roll N Lock on my last truck and find the Retrax much better. - ol_Bombero-JCExplorerFold-A-Cover, Pullrite SG. Covers it just fine.
Maybe the Q should be...
Does anyone have a cover (brand) that does *NOT* cover their hitch?..:@
....by intent - or accident (bad choice) and maybe wish they didn't have that brand!
~ - JAC1982ExplorerWe have an Extang Solid Fold 2.0. It is easy to install since it's just clipped on, and can also be totally removed with no damage/holes to the truck. It clears the hitch just fine.
- NEnativeExplorerI have a paragon tonneau cover on my 2016 f350. it clears the hitch in my bed.
- BB_TXNomadPace Edwards Full Metal Jackrabbit covers my Reese Elite.
