Does your Eclipse Attitude/Stellar have leaking windows?

Chime in here if yours leak. State how many windows including location. I wanted to get this going to send a note to Eclipse so they wake up and start taking note of these leaking window issues so many are reporting. Also post up any pictures if you've taken the time to remove any leaking windows

Mine: New 2015 Attitude 28SAG with three (3) windows leaking.

1) Front bedroom emergency exit window door side
2) Rear window door side
3) Rear window street side
  • I like that the manufacturer is responding on here about the issue. Makes me think I bought the right trailer.

Guys please let us know what the resolution is!

edit: trying to figure out why my sig isn't showing
  • Danny at Eclipse RV would like to discuss these issues and help solve them. He is the service manager and can be reached at 951-684-6868

How long have you guys had these trailers that are leaking? I just picked up an Attitude 19FB new in August. No issues so far obviously, but what should I look for?

I picked mine up end of Oct. Took a good hard rain to expose the leaks. Just look for water leaking from under the bottom of the window frame and running down the wall

I have placed some duct tape around the outside of the windows I had leaking until I can get them fixed. Were getting pounded right now in Cali and so far my tape job seems to be holding.
  • I had window issues from day 1, though I only knew about one at the time. When looking at the outside, I could see the window cutout for the left bedroom window. There was about a 1/8th gap between the top corner of the window and the wall. Eclipse "fixed" the issue by caulking around the upper portion of the window. I have since had almost all of the windows leak, some have been fixed by caulk. The large passenger side window leaks from the aluminum seam at the top of the window. This is where the aluminum frame meets in the center of the top, if that makes sense. Two other windows are leaking through screws in the window frame. I guess need to pull the windows, re-tape them and re-caulk them. Doesn't sound like fun at all.

  • Every manufacturer has quality issues from time to time. As a whole I still think Eclipse makes a quality product and in most instances they step up and correct issues. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. I know several people who have owned one of their trailers and been very happy. You also have to consider Eclipse is one of the largest TH manufacturers out West. There are a lot of their units out there and why it might seem like a lot of "issues" reported.

But lets not derail this thread... Please stick to the topic. "Leaking Windows"
  • Thinking of getting a new TH soon and have the Eclipse Attitude as a real possibility, now with all this talk about their issues they are falling quickly from consideration. Sharp looking units with many bells and whistles, guess they should pay attention to the small stuff first. I'll keep reading to see who all has issues with these units.
