Drink spills

Not a topic that will change the world, but one that is aggravating, our 5er has two swivel recliners in the rear of the unit, and came with a small table between the two. While watching the football games this weekend, twice I turned in my chair, bumped the small table and spilled a drink on the floor. Is there a simple solution to this small problem that I am overlooking? Thanks in advance.

  • Stop swiveling so far; move chairs farther away from the table if you can; or have somebody make you a table about the same size with 2 holes to set the drinks into. Sort of like a cup holder in a vehicle.
  • I'm an avid cross stitcher. After spilling iced tea on a project I was working months on, I started using Tervis Mugs. They come in a variety of sizes. You can use them for cold or hot beverages. And they come with a lifetime guarantee. Bed Bath & Beyond will replace them without a receipt if you ever have one crack.

    Sippy cup with straw

    Starbucks...$12.00

    Walmart.....$4.00

    worked for me

I would avoid the cups with straws. When knocked over, the straw make for a good exit for the drink to escape.
  • Sippy cups? Work pretty well with grandkids.

I had same problem........knocked over full glass of Ice Tea twice
After the beating I learned to not swivel so much
