That design looks like it could cause problems if your 5er is a little low on hookup. Without it, the 5er hitch would just slide up the truck hitch. With it, your trailer hitch will dig in. If you have one of those grease-less Teflon plates, wouldn't it tear it up?
I don't get it. I have the Butche's Services installed. I do not see how there can be any interference while hooking if the pin is completely clear of the pathway the king pin travel in when it goes on the fifth wheel. :h
