This is my pin box/hitch engagement after the pin has cleared the BedSaver. I wouldn't consider my pin box to be fairly high as I get significant down force while hitching up. This picture was taken to illustrate that point.
I will say however I have never raised my pin box just enough to clear the Bed Saver. I typically raise it to unhooking height, back in until the pin is between the hitch plate and Bed saver, then lower the nose a couple inches and connect, which the Bed Saver allows me to do.
