DRW vs. SRW for towing fivers
Has anyone towed fivers with both DRW and SRW pickups? I currently have a F350 diesel DRW, and I'm looking to get a new F350 but I'm debating on the rear wheel config. Ease of parking and maneuvering...

I would suspect that it depends on how long a 5th wheel you are pulling and how heavy it is. We pull a 38' 5th wheel with a SRW configuration. 95% of the time the truck is not pulling anything. Therefore the smaller footprint and ease of parking was more important than the increase in stability a DRW truck may provide. We have been in some nasty road conditions and high wind conditions and have never felt like the truck or load combination was unstable. YMMV.
