DRW vs SRW Trucks
Wife and I are looking at a Grand Design Momentum 397TH. Weight on that 5'er is 20,000 lbs loaded. I currently have a 2006 DRW truck now and need to buy a newer truck to handle that sort of capacity...

We tow our XLR 395 with a '15 F350 SRW. The XLR is just shy of 45' long and rated at 21k, but we're usually 17-18k depending on what (if anything) is in the garage. I'm under my payload, axle and tire capacities too with a 2800# pin. Pulls like a dream, even through the mountains from Ohio to Myrtle Beach.

Unless you never haul anything and if you don't, what is the point of a toy hauler???
Seems unusual but you may be surprised. Some XLRs are amazingly light on the pin. I think their axles sit further forward than most other toy haulers.
