Ducted AC return air in fivers
What mid level fiver brands have ducted rather than direct return air to the AC? Does that lower the sound very much? I don't like the high noise level of the direct air return ACs.

Most ACs can be annoying in the confined spaces of an RV. To answer your question, in my experience, the ducted AC is much quieter. I set my 15K Dometic to auto, and it normally runs on low. It is much like your house, when temp is reached, compressor and fan shut off. I like mine, and it cools very well too!
