Durango 355RL / Silverback33RL / Columbus 320RS

We are considering upgrading to the Durango 355RL however haven't heard much about Durango's with respect to their quality or how well the Mfg stands behind their product. We are also looking at the Silverback 33RL and Columbus 320RS.
Any experiences with Durango or comparisons with the Silverback and Columbus would be appreciated. I understand that the "hung wall" process for the Silverback is superior to the Laminated process of the other.two. Is that true?
  • We have a '08 325 durango 5'er,we really love this unit no problems just normal maintenace-go for it & enjoy
  • We have a 285RLX2 2005 Durango . It never went back in for warranty work. I take care of all our issues when they arise. But our overall thoughts are that it ha been a very good trailer and I think KZ makes a good product for the price.
  • We bought a new Durango on 08 and it has been great! They stand behind everything! Of coarse, the dealer has a lot to do with it! Over all, we r going to start looking again in 14 for another larger KZ Rv!!!!!
We have put about 50k miles on it, it's just not a 2 weeks in the summer, Rv. We use it at least once a month!
Don't think u can go wrong!
2 year warranty is really nice!

    Hope this helps,
    Bruce
  • Hung walls use fiberglass batt insulation, which can settle over time, creating air pockets in the top, where the insulation used to be.
  • I would give the nod to the Silverback...great build quality and the Cedar Creek division is exceptional for customer service.
