Phil, I ran Michelin XPS Ribs for 6.5 years and now R250 for two years. My 12K+ trailer tows like it is on rails, and that includes a lot of SW windy days.
The whole ST market BS is just that. They are cheap tires period! If they were everything that the marketing of them claims, they would be much more expensive.
I can tell you that the trailer manufacturers that buy them in large numbers pay very little for them.
