- azdryheatExplorerNo contest - DRV. Better built, better for fulltiming, but heavy.
- Splashers3ExplorerX2 on DRV!!!
- DRV X 3
- Cummins12V98Explorer IIII own a 2016 39TKSB3 DRV. Ordered it new from Rolling Retreats with many upgrades. We full time since new. Certainly not perfect but it really is a high end RV.
- Bionic_ManExplorerIt's been a LONG time, but our first RV was a Dutchman. Anytime my wife talks about it, to this day she calls it "the POS Dutchman". We'd never buy another.
- Michelle_SExplorer IIIDitto DRV especially since you're looking at model years well before they were bought out by Thor/Heartland.
- PWRmx24ExplorerWhen was DRV bought out by Thor? Im assuming consensus is a drop in quality at that time?
- dapperdanExplorerI believe it was early 2016, either then or in 2015. Sorry I just can't remember exactly when. Ours was built before the buy out though. :B
Dan - PWRmx24ExplorerThanks. From just observation the Grand Junction looks ok. Its been well maintained. But i can tell the materials are a bit better in the DRV.
- PWRmx24ExplorerAnother question is....is there a similar DRV quality build in a bit shorter 5th wheel. Were very concerned about the rear end clearance in getting a 36 or 38 footer on the property. Thanks again.
