East Glacier to West Glacier
What is USA 2 highway like? Where coming down from Alberta going over to Rocky Mountain Hi Campground, by Kalispell MT is this a good highway?

If you stop in E. Glacier you probably do not want to take the shortcut of MT highway 49. I did and made it fine, but they had some landslides and sections of the road were gravel and no side rails. Some places looked to be maybe 1000 feet straight down. There was some shoulder tho - probably 6 feet on the side of the road.
It is probably really pretty too, but alas, I had to drive and watch the road!!!
