Electric awning deletion
Has anyone found a FW model they like, that comes standard with an electric awning, and asked the manufacturer if it can be deleted in favor of a manual awning? Lyle

Had two electrics. One carefree one Dometic. Carefree was far superior. Now have a Dometic manual. Anything above a breeze the electrics would flop around like a fish on land. In an out with them all the time. No they were not automatics. Made sure they were in when left. Had the manual out all winter long in AZ this winter. Wind must have been blowin 40 mile gusts the other day . I had to tilt it down a few notches to keep the wind from getting under an billowing it. Took seconds to move it down and back up. Once all winter. NOT sold on electrics and like I said owned two.
