My fifth wheel didn't come with a fire place. It was an option and was installed in the cabinet under our TV. I searched fire places that had measurements that were very similar to the dimensions of my cabinet. Bought a dimplex fire place that was close but still required me to modified my cabinet a bit to get it to fit. I used the TV electrical outlet to power the fireplace. Would have liked to use a dedicated 20A outlet but would nave been very difficult. I had to remove all the carpeting inside the cabinet and fabricate the finish trim to hold the fireplace in position. The trim that came with the fireplace was too wide and thick to work with my cabinet. I made the trim out of flat steel and painted it black to match the fireplace. My wife was very nervous with me making modifications to the cabinet past the point of no return and having to fabricate a part to hold it secure but she is very happy with the looks and the install. Happy I went through with it and the fireplace works very well and puts out nice heat.
