Well I just got home from Menards. They had an 11% rebate sale going on so I picked up the fireplace insert I have been looking at getting. Gonna go run the slides out and turn on the furnace and get it warmed up in there a bit. Gonna do a temporary test fit to see what I need to mount it. It looks like a hinge will work as well if the cable splice doesnt work. With the rebate it will come to $178 so the price isnt too bad.
