I am sitting here right now with my fireplace running...! I also use a small electric heater when I have too. Right now it is nice and warm inside. My runs either with 750 or 1500 watts. I can plug it into either the outlet in my storage but I usually run the cord out thru the bottom of and outside electric box I installed and plug into campground electric. Had a small panel in the LV that was blank. Knocked it out and found about 8 inches of unused space there and about 22" wide and 19" high. Browsed HD and found one the right size. Ordered and got it home...installed it without all the trim work that came with the free-standing fireplace. Few pieces of trim and it looks factory. In a place that had nothing so it takes up no room and heats well.
