I installed an electrical heating coil into my gas heating unit and love it. You can use electric or gas. Check out rvcomfortsystems.com, I would not own another camper with out this system installed. Heating my camper evenly and also heating the underbelly at the same time. I have no need to carry any extra portable heaters.
