They're family owned, don't believe in debt and don't expand/acquire unless they have internal cash to do it. Unlike Evergreen, they don't depend on venture capitalists for financing - that's what killed Evergreen. Not to mention their reputation for decent quality products at their respective price points and stellar customer service. I've owned 3 Jaycos over the years - a Cardinal pop-up (our first RV) and 2 Designer 5th wheels. If they had offered something comparable to the DRV Mobile Suites when we bought our first MS 36RE3 in 2004, we might still own a Jayco.
