I never turn on the heater at night. We make coffee in the morning to warm up the trailer. If it is near freezing or below we might turn on the heater in the morning.
It is easy to believe that many RVers have not done much tent camping in cold weather. I do not want my trailer to be like being in a house at home. We heat with wood. There are times when the house is cold. Being in a cold trailer is totally normal. There is no bad weather only bad clothes and bad bedding.
