Batteries are often in unheated areas. That means the effective amp-hour rating is lowered. The heater fan on a duty cycle of 50% on my rv uses about 4 amps per hour. So running it for ten hours consumes 40 amp-hours.
There has to be a way to recharge the bank.

the batteries just run the fan. 40 degrees? Gees you should be fine for several days.
My guess you'll run out of propane first.
