Yeah, I've researched the same model of detector, but it appears that these detectors just seem to have random issues like this. It's not just the heater that triggers it, if the dog farts, it goes off.
Not that I recommend this for everyone, but I simply installed a cutoff switch. Now when it shrieks, I shut it down.
Problem is that I understand the safety feature and would use it if it worked, but so far it's been the detector that "cried wolf".
