Experiences with Space Craft?

No experience, just know that you need DEEP pockets to order one.

When I was growing up my parents had Spacecraft truck campers. The owner of Spacecraft then was John May (could be wrong on the last name). He made a very good product. That was all my parents would buy. He stood behind his units extremely well and did corrections even when they were out of warranty. Now I am 66 years old so that was a while back. Isn't the owner of Spacecraft now his daughter? If so I bet the pride in product is still there.

We have friends that have had them build a custom fiver. They are one great quality rig, and the company really stands behind their work, but they really are pricy. If you've got the coin, it's a great way to go.

Go over to RVNetwork.com (Escapees forum) and ask around. There is also a facebook site that is private but you can ask to join. There are several folks I know of that fulltime in SpaceCraft RV's

I stopped there once, and they were very nice folks. The factory is just off I-70 west of Kansas City. In fact, if you stop at the Concordia rest area in the west-bound lane of I-70, their factory is just over the fence. They make lots of campers for carnival folks and specialized uses. Search on youtube -- there is a video or two displaying their products.

Pyoung is correct, they make top notch rigs, but aim primarily at Carny and "special" (like "bunk" trailers).

Personally I think the New Horizons aims more at the 'recreation' full-time crowd, while Spacecraft aims at the 'working' full-time crowd.

Of course either will build you a great rig, designed the way you want it.

Either also requires a substantial truck, ie maybe something more then even a '1-ton'
