F-150 Ecoboost, built in generator
So, this maybe an "FW too far." I am enamored of the F150 ecoboost. 11,000 pound towing capacity, and from what I've read, plenty of power. The tricky part would be hitch weight, under 1200 pounds....

We just got back from a trip to the beach my boy was pulling his 30 foot alumilite trailer WITH THE ON BOARD GENERATOR pulled like a champion. he has a 2013 ecoboost 1/2 ton Ford and it performed as well as my 1998.5 Dodge ram 2500 did. his trailer is about 2500 lbs lighter then my 5th wheel. and I do get far better milage but the truck can do it, and do it well, I have seen it and we are headed up the the High Sierras in about 3 weeks for another vacation.
