I submitted a question on the Grand Design website - can you access fridge with slides in and can you put 16" tires on the Reflection. Got an answer from the Reflection product manager in about 3 hours!
We finally took a trip to look at a 303RLS. Loved it, but there was only 1" clearance from top of 16" tire to bottom of trailer. So... I sent an email back to Grand Design. Later that day, received the following response:
"the change allowing for 16” tires. We made the change for this to take place but we ran into an issue originally so it was not yet put into place. We worked with our frame manufacturer and have now figured out what the problem was. If you are to purchase one through your local dealer and it is an “Retail Ordered Unit”, the unit will reflect the change. Please let me know if you do purchase that way I can assure your unit has the proper hanger adjustment that will allow for the 16” wheels."
So if anyone is looking at the Reflection and you would want to upgrade to an LT tire, be sure to measure what is on the lot. The one we looked at was manufactured mid August.
