It's good to hear your slides are dry. I doubt the shades would be enough to keep out water if the seals were sloppy.
What year of manufacture is yours?
I have read that there were significant improvements with the 2014 model?
Early 2013. Heard they've either offered on upgraded to bigger slide motors.
