Feedback on ForksRV Axiom fifth wheelers please

Does anyone know much about Forks RV and there Axiom lightweight FW's? there's not a lot on there web site. They are in Indiana & have been around for 18 years. We are looking at them to build us a FW for several reasons.
In no particular order 1. A floor plan that suits our family, which we have designed by pinching ideas from several FW's & got it down to 28foot. 2. They build to Australian compliance. ( Our plan is to bring it home after travels in US, and this would solve a lot of problems & expense here in Oz) 3. Length, height & width (7.6 Axiom width) which will hopefully translate to weight. (As I'm trying to keep it under 4000k's (8800# GVWR).

  • Thanks Electric Larry, that's good to know. And for the link Dayle, the exact same article has been copied & pasted into the May 2013 trailer life mag addition, that's how I found them. :)
  • I took a tour of forks factory they do a really good job. Their frams are really well built. They will build any floorplan. Only down side is they are expensive. If I could afford it I would have them custo build me a unit. When we were there they were building 56 foot units going to europe. They were getting ready to build a 43 foot unit for the hershy rv show this fall. They sure take pride in their craftsmanship.
