I still haven't taken the plunge. The XLR is still at the top of my list, however I am finding it very difficult to find one close. The only dealer for Thunderbolts in my area is a very small dealership. They don't have any Thunderbolts in Stock and there service department is pretty much non existent. Honestly I don't believe they will be in business much longer. According to the forest River website, the next closest dealer is about 3 hours away (a camping world). We do have a camping world here local, but they don't carry the thunderbolt line.
I have been looking at ordering the XLR through couch's rv nation based on a little feedback from another member.I am concerned about buying so far away though. The service departments in this area are not that great IMO and even though couchs claims that they get warranty stuff done all over the country, I have my doubts about their "service network".
Can anyone else give any input on buying from so far away, or Couch's?
There are way more Fuzion dealers it seems and looks as though getting the Fuzion 423 would be far easier at this point. But to be honest, I like the XLR quite a bit better. I do still like the 423 though and it is still a consideration.
