I have a two part question......1. Are the airbags on the fifth wheel hitch worth the price?2. Does anyone know exactly why they are called or where I can find some reviews on them? Google has failed me so far!!!!

If your talking about airbags on the trailer axles, Lippert makes the Center Point Air Ride Suspension..If your talking about the pin box , Lippert makes the Tri-Glide . . The Flex Air . . And you can find the Fifth Airborne.... just google air ride pin box

I'm not sure about your question so you may need to clarify some. If you are talking about an air ride hitch, then, yes, they are worth the money if you are looking for a smoother ride. They allow the motion of the truck and fifth wheel to be isolated from each other. We have a Trailer Saver BD3 which is a fairly popular model. If you are looking for reviews there has been a lot written on this forum and others about them. For Google purposes try Trailer Saver or simply air ride fifth wheel hitch.

You can try this link to E-Trailer .com. They have air bag king pins by different manufactures. I have a Trailair air ride on my trailer. Works very well.E-Trailer air bag kingpins

Thank for the replies and links so far. To clarify, yes, I am looking into the airbags that fit into the fifth wheel hitch not airbag for the suspension.

The hitch is in the truck, the pin box is on the 5er.They make air ride for both.
