So since 2006 my fifth wheel has been parked behind my house when not in use hooked to a 50 amp service, satellite hooked up and water if needed, level pad and now for the first time I get to do what I always thought would be very cool.Friend are being transferred to Cali and will be without a house for one week. There gonna be at out house but at night they will be able to have their own space in our fifth wheel which I think is pretty cool! Told my wife they could have the house and we could use the camper!!!

Our stick built doesn't have air conditioning so we use the trailer on the few days a year that it is too warm.

My grandparent's use theirs for "overflow" when needed. Works out pretty good being able to stay out in the camper when needed. It was always my favorite place to sleep when I was a kid.

We have used ours as a guest house too.

I also just used it as a place my daughter could have four of her closest friends over for a Sweet 16 Sleepover party. Served the girls dinner and dessert, made popcorn, they watched some movies on the BIG screen tv in the front lounge and played a board game. I stayed in the back bedroom after dinner, but got up the next morning and made pancakes. The girls had a great time and my daughter asked if she could have more parties in the camper.

Some city ordances have issues with using the camper at a residence.
When we had our truck camper right outside our home, I would go out and use it as an office, for study, work without distractions and not needed to clean off the table for supper.

It's a guest house, if needed, and my personal man cave. With a daughter and 2 gkids (5 & 4) living with us it gets used.

Ditto on using ours as a guest house, but also temporary place for us during a bathroom remodel when all the plumbing in the house was out of commission for a few days and a few years later when the old wood floors were refinished. We have it, so may as well use it.

We also have a full hook up at the S&B and we do on occasion use it as a guest home.

Our's is the guest house also. Works out well for us and our guests. I do have to take it to the dump-station though. The nearest point I could dump the rig in is too far from where I can get the rig.
