If someone single handed lifts my hitch out of my truck, and takes off running with it, I am not going to get in this guy's way. If left in the bed of my truck in an non-secure area, any random man and wife could get it out with ease. They could also steal everything in my truck, destroy it, and set it on fire if I am not watching. Really not being sarcastic people don't care about stealing or destroying other peoples property, lock your hitch so it can't be opened while towing. Watch your property at all times if you can, if not keep your fingers crossed.
