I follow you completely and don't entirely disagree with your position. But I'm sure they also leaned you in the direction of the RV brand(s) they carry. And there are some folks on here that will vehemently demand that you get a B & W, while there are those that will suggest you need to get an Andersen. There's no middle ground, that's for sure. You won't find someone on here recommending you get a sub-$500 basic Reese hitch, even though there are countless rigs being towed all across the USA with those.
