Fifth wheel repair in Denver from accident

Hello, I was recently in a head on collision near Leadville Colorado. My truck is totaled and the fifth wheel sustained damage. The insurance company wants to tow it to a repair shop in Denver. Can anyone suggest a good, honest repair shop in or near Denver?

Thanks
Lee
  • I agree with Windish RV on the west side of Denver off of I70. Talk to Tyler Austin, he is the service manager. Tell him Shane sent you. I used to work with him.

Good luck and wish you and your husband the best. Get well soon.
  • Thank you! I will look into these suggestions. It was a bad crash with one fatality, sadly, though not in my vehicle. My hubby is still in rehab 1 month later. He'll be ok soon.

I recommend Diversified Truck & RV Repair. I have delt with them for many years when I managed a fleet shop. And 2 years ago they replaced the roof on my 5th wheel after a run in with a tree. They did a great job and the roof still looks good.

  • x-3 On Windish. Mines in their Longmont facility as I type. Was hit hard by hail late June to the tune of $18,000+

Been working with Jared one of the service advisors who has been excellent keeping me updated with progress.

I'd suggest Windish RV. We haven't used their repair shop because we didn't buy our camper there, but we plan on buying our next one from them. They have a decent reputation as far as dealerships go, and they're an authorized repair shop for many brands. They have a location in Wheat Ridge, so not too far from I-70 and the mountains.

x2 on Windish. I have my Fuzion there now for damage from a tire blowout and they repaired where a tree poked a hole in my fiberglass a couple years ago.

  • I would recommend Calibre. They have done some fiberglas repair work on my boat, and I was very happy with them.

Sounds like a scary crash. I hope there were no serious injuries. Good luck with everything.
  • Well, for starters, you could check what's available in the Denver area at http://www.rvservicereviews.com/ . You could also call your RV manufacturer and see if they have a qualified service facility or one they would recommend in the area. Or you can sit back and let the insurance company handle it as our insurer (Geico) provides a guarantee on our satisfaction with the repairs if they are carried out in the shop the insurer utilizes.
