Fifth Wheel to Gooseneck and need for off-set adapter

basically it allows you to use a GN ball, to hold a platform (like B&W companion), but on the top is a GN ball. and an adapter that clamps the 5th pin and holds the top ball.

supposedly, because this eliminates the extra distance to the GN ball,
this eliminates most if not all the extra stresses.
