If you purchase a new 5th wheel you may want to call the manufacturer of the 5th wheel to find out if THEY recommend towing their 5er with a GN...some manufacturers will void warranty if towed with anything other than a 5er hitch..only takes a phone call to get the correct information...if 150-200# makes that much difference, may need to get a lighter 5er or trade for a 3/4 ton truck..
