Fifth wheel with passengers?
I was reading about fifth wheels and I saw that in some states it is legal to tow with passengers in the trailer. My question is this, would you and have you towed with passengers in the rig?

It is legal in many locations. 1) Must have doors that can't be locked from the outside. 2) Must have comm between FW and TV. 3) (Varies in some states) Must only be a FW and not a ball hitch. Is it smart? Up to you. Is it comfortable? Not really. My wife tried it on one of our first trips and she lasted about 40 miles. Couldn't read, couldn't sew, couldn't walk to the head. Never thought about it since. Personally, I'd ride in one in an emergency...depending on who was driving.
