Running non-ethanol gas I see ZERO reason to use a stabilizer.
All gasoline can "get old". Stabilizer doesn't cost much and during the times I only run the generator for it's every month 1 hour under a load, gas does sit in the 10 gallon onboard tank longer than when used daily.
